Top 7 Home Decorating Tips For Halloween

When you host a party in your home, you want everything to be perfect for each and every guest. The maximum time and effort that you can spend is to decorate your home. If you want to give a scary party for Halloween then by making little efforts on decoration, you can create the mood for a really scary party. This is the only night when everybody looks for creepy things. Halloween recipes and Halloween games will not be the highest priority for all, but the first impression the guests will get is from the Halloween decoration that you have done in your home.

The main element that needs attention are your lights. Use some dark colored bulbs for lighting. Instead of bulbs, it’s better to switch off the lights and use candles to create some horror look. If you have a lot of kids at the party then put the candles out of the reach of children.

You can use some dry ice for spooky wisps of smoke and fog.

You can make some ghastly head centerpieces for your buffet. Beware! Those ghouls looking over your food and there should be some leftovers.

Play some horror music with scary sounds inside and outside your home. You can use speakers outside your home.

Make some creepy spiders to scatter everywhere in your home including dining table or buffet table and some of them at the places where your guests can be surprised.

If you want to create a look of a dessert haunted home then cover your furniture with white sheets. Spread some talcum powder over those sheets to create a dust cloud when your guests sit.

Lanterns look great, especially on a porch or a metal hanger outside your home. If you are going to use a candle lantern then be sure that it should not be left unattended.
